Specializing in ornamental cutting work, Horner Fan & Fabrication’s CNC Machining and laser cutting equipment features 3-axis flying optics lasers with a 5′ x 10′ bed capacity. We provide contract, prototype, OEM, and fabrication CNC laser cutting, and serve industries ranging from the electronic to the medical and semiconductor sectors. Horner Fan and Fabrication is happy to work with an array of metal and non-metal materials, including aluminum, inconel, and ferrous and non-ferrous metals. We feature a CNC laser cutting thickness of up to 1.25″, a cutting width of up to 60″, and a cutting length of up to 120″.

Flying Optics Flying optics lasers feature a stationary table and a cutting head (with laser beam) that moves over the work piece in both of the horizontal dimensions. Flying-optics cutters keep the work piece stationary during processing, and often don’t require material clamping. |
Cutting Axis Cutting Axis is the number of axes of motion a cutting machine is capable of cutting. 2-axis machines are used to cut flat sheet material while a 3-axis machine is used to cut three dimensional parts. Some 5-axis and 6-axis machines can perform cutting operations on parts that have been pre-formed by casting or machining. |
